Standardized Tests

The admission requirement varies from one university to the other. But the aspirants from India are required to clear the compulsory DAP exam (Demande d’Admission Préalable) which is exempted for EU students. IELTS is not mandatory for all universities, but a good score will improve Visa approval chances. If you apply for degrees taught in French, qualification in language proficiency tests like DELF or TCF is necessary. Standardised tests like GRE, GMAT, or LSAT are required for some undergraduate and graduate courses.

Application Process

France has two intakes in an academic year with the programs beginning in September and February. It is recommended to apply to at least three different universities to increase your chances of being admitted. Indian students must apply through an online application system called ‘Studying in France procedure’.
